Hey friends!

 

My name is Kelsey Voss and I’m an adventurous artist! Between my love of the outdoors, my passion for the environment and my talent in art, I've combined all of these into Sun Earth Moon and target drawing the beautiful protected lands that we all love to explore.

 

Growing up between Vancouver and LA, I have been immersed in nature ever since I was a baby. My dad grew up in LA and much of my family is there, and my mom is Canadian so we spent lots of time exploring all the western national parks growing up. My mom took me on my first canoe trip when I was just 2 weeks old. I learned early on that we need to protect such spectacular places.

When I was 18, my dear mom passed away from pancreatic cancer, and a few years later I started this business as a way to honor her memory. I never thought I would ever draw again but starting this business helped me cope and land on my feet.

In January of 2021, at the same time that I started my Master of Science in Environment and Climate Change, I started drawing a couple national parks for fun and it turned out to be the biggest adventure of my life. I now have over 70 parks across North America drawn and I sell my art at both Denali and Mount Rainier's National Park Stores, as well as Yoho National Park in Canada and I have a great partnership with Ontario's provincial parks. This experience has been so thrilling and I am excited to keep adding more awareness and love for these parks through my art, and connecting with people across the whole continent. Since finishing my education, I now do this business full time!
